"Grace." He held out his hand, "may I?"
She nodded, finding new words to talk at the moment. She swiftly gave him her hand, and he pulled her along.
"Where are we going?" Grace asked as they moved across the parking lot and stepped into the sand. Now the heels seemed like a bad idea.
"You wanted to have dinner with me by the sea," he raised his finger and pointed it in front of them. Squinting, her eyes, grace followed it. "So, we are having dinner by the sea."
Grace found what he was pointing up. It was a table set up for them, with candles and a server standing next to them.
"Is that.. you arranged all of that?" She gaped.
"Of course." Miguel started walking towards it. "I wanted to have dinner with you. Even no matter what he would have thrown my way, I would strive my best to overcome it."
"What if I have just said no?" She tested, hiding her smile.
