章節 12: The Lost Cave
After around one hour of walking, a cave slowly comes into sight. Elder Bai waves his hand signalling the students to stop.
Looking at the cave in front of them, everyone was wondering of what would be the test. No matter how much they look, it's only an ordinary cave. The only strange thing was that they couldn't see the inside of the cave. Only darkness could be seen from where they stand.
Noticing everyone gazes, elder Bai smiles and thought. [There's still something that stays the same for all generation.]
Caressing his moustache, elder Bai said. "This cave is called 'The Lost Cave'. This will be where you take your second test. Those who have strong willpower would be able to come out on the other side of the cave. Those who have weak willpower would be lost in there until the examination is over. The duration is 2 hours. Is this understood?"
Everyone went silent for a moment before someone speaks up. "Elder, I have a question."
"Speak!"
"What would happen to those who failed to come out?" a girl asked in a respectful tone.
"After the examination is over, they will be rescued by our students." Elder Bai replied nonchalantly.
Shortly, someone else asked. "Elder, I also have a question."
"Alright! Speak!"
"What are we going to do inside the cave?" a boy asked.
Some people laugh lightly but some of them didn't because they also want to know.
"You don't have to do anything. As long as you walk out of the other side, you will pass." Elder Bai replied neither fast nor slow.
"Alright! We'll begin the exam shortly. Everyone gets into a queue and walk in one by one." elder Bai paused for a moment before adding "I must remind you that this is a test of your willpower."
Thinking that the test is easy, Tian Feng was exhilarated. He glances at Da Jing for a moment before turning to look at Li'er. "Alright! See you guys on the other side. Be careful and Good luck!"
Da Jing gloated, turning his back, he said. "I'll be waiting for you on the other side."
"Good luck!" Li'er said timidly.
Taking one final gaze at the two of them, Tian Feng turned to walk to the cave. He was full of hopes that his friends would be able to pass this exam too.
Li'er was a little perplexed when Tian Feng looked at her like they had known each other for ages. But she also follows behind him. That boy has given her a feeling of mystery.
Da Jing also follows behind and enter the cave.
When Tian Feng entered the cave, he's shocked. Someone was entering just before him but now that person is nowhere to be seen. He feels like he's the only person in this entire place.
The cave was dark, he can barely see anything. He didn't move immediately. Recalling the purpose of the exam. "I must remind you that this is a test of willpower."

A while later... Tian Feng lets out a sigh... [Nothing good come to mind...]
Forget it, let's just walk straight first. Since he can't see anything anyway, walking straight was the only choice.

When he came out, he saw that many people were staring at him. At that moment, two people were running toward him. They were none other than Li'er and Da Jing.
The test was easy for them. Their willpower was trained from young and by now, it is already unshakable. Unlike him who got influenced by the world of choices back in the other world.
"Time's up! 45 students passed the second exam. This concluded the examination of willpower" Elder Bai announced it shortly after Tian Feng has come out.
Turn out that I'm the last one.
Da Jing and Li'er arrived in front of him. "You're lucky. Coming out just before the elder concluded the exam. hehe" Da Jing said to him then laugh. Li'er also laughed. Tian Feng scratches his head and smiles wryly.
Elder Bai orders other students to rescue those who failed then he turned to those who passed and said in a neutral voice. "You have passed this test which means you have strong willpower. But, that's not enough to survive in this world. Follow me to take the third test."
Everyone follows elder Bai. After walking for about 30 minutes they arrived in the academy courtyard.
The courtyard was vast enough to host hundreds of thousand students. The atmosphere here is also suitable for cultivation. Tian Feng feels that the energy in the atmosphere is many times denser than anywhere he has ever been.
After they arrived in the courtyard, elder Bai turns to talk with a few students. Nobody can hear what he was talking about.

Everyone turns to look at the book in their hand. It's called "Basic Divine Punch". Elder Bai said once again "Since there's no question, Let the exam begin!"
Tian Feng opens the book and reads it through once. He could remember the contents but he can't seem to execute it. Divine Punch is a punch that imbues with condensed Qi. The more Qi, the more power. He tried to execute it but it doesn't seem right.
