章節 60: Finally Home

After we left the shady neighborhood, I relaxed. The rest of the walk was chill, but I could feel my fever rising again. To keep from swerving around, I continued to lean on Ryuu. Thankfully, we arrived at my house soon enough.

"Thank you for all you've done for me today and yesterday." I bowed to him once we stood in front of the gates. "If you can, you should go to school, okay?" I straightened up and smiled a little.

"Okay." Ryuu nodded. "But, I should take you inside."

"I'll be fine! So, you can just give me my bag now." I held out my hand, but Ryuu didn't move. I sighed. "It's just a few steps. Granny's home, too. She'll take care of me."

Well, she probably will... a little bit. Her attention span and memory can be spotty at times. She might forget I'm sick, but I'll be fine. I can take care of myself. I have in the past.

"Fine." Ryuu reluctantly handed over my bag. "If you need anything, tell me."

Sorry I’m late! I just really couldn’t bring myself to write the past 2 days. I read comments and sometimes not so nice ones are left. Sometimes they get to me. Sometimes they don’t. This time it did. But! I’m okay. Just a phase I go thru, lol.

If this chapter’s a little iffy, that’s why. Most of it was done before I couldn’t write, so I just finished the rest today.
