"Why didn't you tell me? I would have come to take you home." Gerard complained but had a bright smile on his face.

Ayla shook her head, "I thought I'd be leaving the office early but I had so much to deal with." Her face lit up seeing that he was worried for her.

Ayla noticed that Gerard was driving slowly, "What's the matter? Are you out of gas?" she asked confused.

Gerard shook his head. "Nope. The road is bumpy so I have to drive carefully." he pointed out and Ayla nodded in understanding but then, she thought about the possibility and suddenly laughed.

"What are you thinking? The baby is only a month old do you think this can affect him?" she joked but Gerard had his eyes fixed on the road.

"The baby is a girl." he corrected. "Trust me, I'm sure she's a girl. And, I have to take care of her from now onwards." Ayla almost laughed her eyes out.
