In matters of the heart, Henry was lost. 

However, the moment he saw a goblin, he knew that there was one thing he was confident in. Even if he was using his left arm, a goblin wasn't a match for him. 

After removing his cloak and putting it over Princess Marie, he stepped behind her and drew his sword with his left arm. He took a deep breath to slow his heart - the princess's presence had overwhelmed him even before he saw the monster. 

Despite Henry's warning not to look, Princess Marie couldn't help peeking at the knight slowly walking towards the forest. He didn't waver even for a moment. 

It was her first run-in with a monster but she wasn't scared in the slightest.
