It appeared that they were cultivating inside. 

The only thing that made Wang Mang feel better was that he had figured out who the demon emperor in the Heavenly Lake was. It was a turtle demon emperor that had reached the 6,300-year mark.

To Wang Mang, this Turtle Emperor was not a threat.

The other noteworthy, but less positive news, was that Liu Xiu had reached the level of a demon emperor too.
