I firmly and seriously said that I no longer loved him and no longer considered him my husband. I didn't want to be around him anymore and get the same pain as before.

"I don't want to be around you anymore! I don't want to be your wife anymore, so stop playing games! I've signed my divorce papers and I'm serious about it!" I told him.

From the expression on his face, he didn't seem to like my answer. Even so, I didn't care anymore. Where have you been for four years? Just staying quiet without being able to stop your mom from always putting me down.

"What has he done to you to make you say things like this to me, Odelia?" he asked me.

What had he done? What did Vin mean by that?

"Osbert must have influenced your mind for you to choose him over me. To the point where you're telling me that you don't love me anymore!" he snapped as he looked at me with an angry gaze and I could see the pain there.
