章節 1: The Cave & The Magic Tome
I was told I wasn't allowed tp cultivate growing up. That didn't stop me though because you know what I still cultivated.
I started cultivating at the age of 20. It should have been impossible of someone that age to cultivate. Within a few short years I went from Qi Sensing 1 to Heavenly King 3.
In the end though I was betrayed by my own disciple maybe it was because I was younger than him or maybe he thought I had a treasure or something I don't know.
I was sitting in lotus position cultivating about to achieve another breakthrough when the door slammed open. Walking in were the bigshot of thr cultivation world. Next thing I know I felt a sharp pain in my abdomen.
Looking down to see a sword plunged through my abdomen I realized I raised a traitorous disciple. The bigshot now in front of forced my to drink a thick syrup liquid.
I fell backwards laying on the floor I heard then say to my disciple or ex-disciple that it was the water of the purging void and that even if I did recover I would never be able to cultivate again.
It felt as if I fell into an eternal sleep. It was very comfortable but that didn't last long. With a slight tug I was pulled foward. I cpuld feel the wind on my skin and I slowly open my eyes.
After opening my eyes I noticed I was in a dimly lit cave. Looking around I found skeleton on the far end of the cave clutching a book as if this book should not be release into the world. I looked away from the skeleton and enter into lotus position and tried to cultivate.
As I tried to cultivate a sharp pain shot through my body. I assume the water of purging void was still affecting me even in a new body.
With nothing better to do I walked over to the skeleton and tried to grab the book. After a couple of minutes of pulling on the book I managed to pull it out. With the book not in the skeletons grasp anymore it crumbled to dust.
Look at the cover of the book it was titled, "Magic for Dummies". Flipping through the book none of it made sense to me. I'm thankful it was in the language I knew.
Flipping back to first page it start to describe this enegy known as mana. The description of mana is the same as qi. Reading further the only difference between magic and martial arts is that you store mana in a single part of your body known as a mana chamber.
I try the breathing method mentioned in this book and there is no pain jabs or any of that. I start to collect mana into the area of the body the book described as the mana channel.
I breathed as the breathing method that is described in this book for a couple of hours. I heard a crack and then mana started to rush out of the mana chamber started tp circle around my lungs.
Looking through the book to see if this was suppose to happen. The book say this happen when I achieve first circle. It also says the place the mana circles form around are according to your physique.
The circles will form around your heart if your physiques specialize in adaptation. The circles will form around you brain if you physique allows you to have a better grasp of mana. The circles will for around you muscles if you physique specialize in physical magic. Lastly and the rarest the circles will form around your lungs if your physique specialize in mana intake and output.
