Melchior returned Stormrage to his waist and deactivated Damjan, wholly removing the fountain of blue fog pouring out of his body.

It was done.

He stepped out of the gradually receding dust cloud to assess everything around him. Luckily, there was not a lot of damage done to the surroundings. The others had picked up where he left off and stopped the orbs of ice from doing any serious damage to the town.

The one major issue with using Hailstorm was that it had no way to distinguish friend from foe.

The ability was a powerful area-of-effect one. Its main purpose was simple: to destroy and leave nothing left.

It was a big mistake on his part to activate it over the town, where people could get hurt.

He couldn't say the same thing about the parts that the large bird's body had connected with. As of this moment, a large crater sat a few inches shy of the town's centre.
