Ryuki motioned for Michiko to hand him a large container of soda ash. "Get me the large container of soda ash, please," he called out.

Michiko quickly retrieved the container and handed it to him. "What's this for?" she asked curiously.

"We need to neutralize the acid before we pump it out of the system," Ryuki explained as he dumped the mixture into the standing water and stirred it up.

After one final round of brushing, they turned the filter back on and watched as all the dirty water disappeared into oblivion. It was a satisfying sight for both of them, knowing that their hard work had paid off.

"So, what do you think?" Ryuki asked Michiko as she stood at the edge of the pool, stripping off her gloves and sweatpants.

She smiled in amazement as she gazed at their sparkling clean pool. "Looks like new," she replied in awe.
