章節 29: Chapter 29:The Heist of Mariejois

Jason stood outside the treasury building, his senses sharp and focused. Men in black suits stood guard at the entrance—six of them, their presence daunting but not unexpected. These were CP0 agents, the elite assassins and intelligence agents of the World Government. Jason's Observation Haki quickly assessed their strength: five of them were weak, barely a threat, but the sixth, the leader, had a formidable aura.

He's strong, Jason thought, keeping his focus on the leader. His mind raced, formulating a strategy. Direct confrontation would be risky, but if he could take out the strongest one first, the others would likely crumble in fear.

Jason silently moved into position, cloaking his presence with his advanced Haki. He gripped his sword, infusing it with Armament Haki, its invisible power flowing through the blade like an extension of his own will. The Tobu Zangeki—a flying slash technique—was his chosen method of attack. He prepared to strike, his muscles coiled like a spring, ready to release all at once.

In an instant, Jason lunged forward, unleashing the attack. The CP0 leader's instincts kicked in, sensing the danger at the last possible moment. He turned his head just in time to see Jason's attack, but it was too late. The flying slash cleaved him in half, blood spraying into the air as his body crumpled to the ground.

The other five agents froze, their faces contorted in shock. For a brief second, the world seemed to stop.

Jason took full advantage of their stunned reaction. With lightning speed, he closed the distance between them, cutting them down one by one before they could even draw their weapons. His sword sliced through them with the precision of a master swordsman, each strike ending a life in the blink of an eye.

When the last agent fell, Jason wiped his blade clean on the dead man's cloak. He turned his attention to the treasury door, a massive barrier that stood between him and his true objective. The door was imposing, made of a strange, dark metal that Jason couldn't immediately identify. He placed his hand against it and felt the cold surface.

Sea stone? And something else, he mused. It was a combination he hadn't encountered before, likely crafted specifically to deter intruders like him—especially Devil Fruit users.

Jason drew his sword again and struck the door, but the blade left only a shallow gash in the metal. It was clear that a simple slash wouldn't suffice. He narrowed his eyes, determined to break through. This door wouldn't stop him.

He took a deep breath, channeling his Haki to its highest level. His sword turned pitch black as it became infused with the full power of his Armament Haki, the air around him rippling with the sheer intensity of the energy. Jason's muscles tensed as he called upon the immense strength of his Destroyer Physique, focusing it into one devastating strike.

With a roar, Jason slashed out with all his might. His sword cleaved through the door as if it were paper, slicing it cleanly in half. The two halves of the door fell inward with a deafening crash, revealing the vault's interior.

Jason stepped inside, his breath catching at the sight before him. Piles of heavenly gold—enough to fund entire kingdoms—were stacked high, the shimmering treasure almost blinding in its abundance. But Jason wasn't here for gold. His eyes moved past the treasure, seeking something far more valuable.

Devil Fruits.

He walked deeper into the vault, and there they were—thirty chests, each one marked with the distinct seal of the Celestial Dragons. Jason's heart raced as he approached them. He opened one of the chests, and inside was exactly what he had hoped for: a Devil Fruit, its swirling pattern unmistakable.

Grinning with satisfaction, Jason touched the chests and one by one, they disappeared into his system treasury, stored safely for later use. He moved swiftly, clearing the vault of the Devil Fruits in minutes. When the last chest was secured, Jason's attention shifted to a nearby shelf where two books and a katana rested.

Jason picked up the first book. The title read, Most Advanced Devil Fruit Illustrations, detailing the rarest and most powerful Devil Fruits known to the world. The second book was labeled Most Advanced Rokushiki Practices, outlining techniques that only the most skilled agents of the World Government could master.

Jason stored the books in his system treasury, excitement bubbling within him. These were treasures of immense value, containing knowledge that could help him push his abilities even further.

Lastly, Jason turned his attention to the katana. The weapon was beautiful—its hilt engraved with the image of a white and black dragon, intricate scales curling down the length of the handle. Engraved into the blade were words that made Jason's pulse quicken: Muramasa—the strongest cursed blade.

He picked up the sword, feeling its weight in his hand. The cursed aura around it was unmistakable, a power that both intrigued and challenged him. He stored the sword as well, knowing it would be a valuable addition to his arsenal.

With his objectives completed, Jason glanced around one last time. He had taken everything of value, and now it was time to leave before more agents arrived.

Jason walked out of the vault, the flames from the earlier raid still roaring in the distance. He made his way toward God City, where Fisher Tiger was waiting. As he approached, he saw the fishman captain holding a small girl in his arms, her face buried in his chest.

"Fisher!" Jason called over the roar of the flames. "We need to go! Now!"

Fisher Tiger turned to him and nodded, his face set in determination. "Agreed! Let's move!"

With the girl secured in Fisher Tiger's arms, they made their way toward the edge of Mariejois, the fires and chaos growing behind them. As they reached the edge, Fisher Tiger looked at Jason.

"Ready?" he asked.

Jason nodded. "Let's jump."

Without hesitation, they both leaped off the edge of the Red Line, plummeting toward the ocean far below. The height would have been fatal for most people, but for Jason and Fisher Tiger, with their enhanced physiques, it was a manageable risk.

They hit the water with a tremendous splash, the cold shock of the ocean surrounding them. Jason surfaced quickly, his lungs burning from the fall. Fisher Tiger emerged beside him, still holding the girl securely.

Together, they swam toward the waiting Sun Pirate ship. As they climbed aboard, the crew greeted them with cheers, relieved to see their captain and Jason return safely.

"Set sail for the Sabaody Archipelago," Fisher Tiger commanded.

The ship turned, leaving the chaos of Mariejois behind. As the Sun Pirate ship sailed into the night, Jason leaned against the railing, his mind racing with the events of the night. He had gained treasures beyond his wildest dreams—Devil Fruits, knowledge, and the legendary cursed blade, Muramasa. But more than that, he had struck a blow against the tyranny of the Celestial Dragons.

This was just the beginning. The revolution had only begun to take shape.
