章節 62: Chapter 61: Doom vs Magneto
(3rd Person: POV)
Stopping himself in the air Magneto aimed a glare towards Victor who stopped right along with him.
"You dare to face me alone knowing who I am metal man?" Magneto asked.
"Yes, I dare." Victor replied.
"Then you are a fool." Magneto said.
He then raised his left hand in Victor's direction and began using his powers to pull his armor apart.
At least he tried too.
Until Magneto realized his powers weren't affecting Victor's armor in the slightest.
"What! Impossible!" Magneto exclaimed.
"Oh, is someone having a little performance anxiety?" Doom asked. Watching as Magneto put a stupified expression on his face as he realized his powers couldn't do anything to his armor.
But that's to be expected. Since Victor had prepared his armor for this exact situation a while ago.
He had made it so that whenever his armor was going to be affected by any sort of magnetic field it would generate a magnetic field along the same lines of force, and frequency, trying to affect his armor.
Thus, just like with two magnets who had their same poles facing each other the magnetic field generated by his armor would repel the magnetic field trying to affect it.
Making Victor immune to magnokinetic abilities.
"Don't worry. I hear it's very common in men of a certain age." Victor spoke.
Which only infuriated Magneto even further.
"So I cannot rip your armor off of you. No matter. I can still make it your co-Ack!"
Magneto suddenly shouted.
As Victor closed the distance between them and delivered a punch to his chest, sending him flying into the ground.
Not caring one bit that he interrupted Magneto's little monologue.
Since Victor is not some sort of shounen manga or anime protagonist who is going to let his enemy finishing speaking before attacking them.
No, his thinking is in line with Number 17's from Dragon Ball Super. Attacking his opponents no matter what they are doing. Especially if they are in the middle of powering up or some shit like that.
That's why he loved 17 during the Tournament of Power Arc.
"Agh!!!" Magneto shouted, as he flew up from the ground and back into the air.
A force field around his body.
Once he did he raised both his hands on Victor's direction and fired off Magnetic Rays at him.
Which Victor easily blocked by summong his own force field.
After he did he summoned two small portals near his fists, their openings near Magneto's stomach.
Without hesitation Victor punched through the portals nears his hands, nailing Magneto in his stomach.
Repeatedly.
So much so it made him drop his force field.
When this happen Victor dropped his own force field and then quickly closed the distance to Magneto.
After he did he delivered a left uppercut to the man's chin.
Sending his head flying upward, the rest of his body following right along.
Though that only happened for a few seconds before Magneto stopped his ascent.
Spitting up a small amount of blood from his mouth after he did.
"So, are you ready to give up now?" Victor asked.
Floating up to meet Magneto at eye level. His hands behind his back like Morpheus from the Matrix.
"As you can see despite your power you cannot hope to defeat me. So give up and come along peacefully. That way you can even meet your fellow EVO's on good terms." Victor spoke.
"Never? I'll never surrender to to you!" Magneto angrily replied. "And what do you mean by EVO's?" He asked
"I mean people like you and mean. Those who have superhuman abilities. Either through natural development or through various other methods. Like scientific experiments." Victor replied. "Evolved Humans. A term I think fits those like us far better than the horrid term Mutant. For when I hear that word I can only imagine some grotesque monster. Don't you agree?"
"Don't think you can distract me!" Magneto spoke.
He then fired off some concentrated infated rays at Victor.
Leading the man to sigh and raise his force field to defend himself.
"I see you want to do this the hard way then. So be it." Victor said.
He then created a large magic portal in front of him, which opened up behind Magneto.
Once the portal was opened up Victor quickly removed Magneto's helmet before locking the man into a sleep choke hold, as well as begin to telepathically assault his mind.
"No!!!Stop!!!" Magneto shouted.
He also struggled.
But it was no use.
Victor had him under his complete mercy.
Which in no time at all had Magneto out cold.
Once he was Victor took hold of the man using his telekinesis, came through his magic portal beside him, and closed it.
Victor then caught Magneto's famous helmet with his telekinesis and brought it up to his hands. Where he took hold of it.
After he did he started heading back to regroup with his people.
Slightly disappointed that that was all the Master of Magnetism had to offer him in the way of a battle.
Leaving Victor to wonder when he would get an opponents that could truly challenge him.
