The rat finally stopped staring and, with a sinister laugh, said, "I've lived for so many years, yet I've never seen Monster Qi as pure as yours, Dragon species. I can help you with your problem, but I want to know, have you really never eaten a human? Even a bit of human flesh counts!"

Hearing this,

A trace of strangeness flickered through Yibai's upright pupils, seemingly surprised that the rat was concerned with such a matter.

But he indeed hadn't eaten humans; he had fed on monsters.
