She blinked groggily up at a handsome face with sharp eyes.

The man in question looked up from his reading and smirked down at her. "Had a nice nap? It's time to get up now."

Her cheeks burned and she immediately threw an arm over her face to hide her embarrassment.

"What-!" She sputtered and stuttered for several seconds, failing impressively at getting any coherent words out beyond that.

Finally she managed to compose herself enough to regain use of the English language. "How...how did I end up in your lap?!"

He hummed innocently, like the wicked villain he was. "It was surprisingly easy to move you without waking you..."

She puffed her cheeks and gave her handsome husband the best glare she could.
