It was almost a shame the fireworks weren't going to happen until after dark.
But she was still having a nice enough time. It wasn't as if there wasn't plenty of stuff to do until then, and it wasn't like she didn't enjoy spending time with her family, even without anything happening.

Her eyes wandered over to the play that had finished. The actors were milling around and taking bows for the audience members, and a few had started to disperse. The woman who played Kelsa, in particular, seemed to be getting the majority of the attention.
Which was fair. Isabelle would have said the play was all about her, and her performance was very well done.
