She stretched and hummed.

This was interrupted by a kitten booping his snout into her face in the most adorable possible way. Her attempt to draw in a nice deep morning sigh was ruined as she broke out into giggles instead.

She peeked one eye open. Her cute cat loomed over her, eyes wide and alert, ears perked.

He stared at her like she was a riddle to be solved.

"Ye--oomf-!"

Her little cat booped her in the face with his snout immediately before she could speak. His bright blue eyes were huge as he examined her. His fuzzy face was soft against hers. His whiskers tickled.

Her brain scrambled to process what he wanted from her. What had woken her up so abruptly?

"...You want belly scritches. Right?" She said after a moment's hesitation. "Snowball. Please. My fluffy son. Let me sleep in just a little while longer."
