Snowball stretched his legs as far as they would reach before curling his entire body back in, then made a little sound somewhere between a squeak and a growl and climbed down off the bed.
Isabelle glanced toward her little darling from the book she was reading on the sofa, watching him trot over to her. "Have you finished sleeping for today, sweet baby? Well done for being so independent."
His little tail curled over itself like a question mark and he looked up at her with bright eyes and a meow.
"Does someone need me?" She inquired, putting down her book.
Snowball meowed back at her as if to say "Yes, obviously, now pay attention to me."
"Cuddles, then." She held her hands out for him as she picked him up easily, pressing kisses into his fluffy fur. "I know. You just miss me because you don't get to play with me when I'm busy."
He licked her wrist with a small sound, his wet sandpapery tongue tickling her skin.
