Isabelle and Snowball snuggled on the couch in the main living space of the suite as they waited for one of her beloved husbands to come back to them. The men had all gone out on various assignments - mostly self-appointed.

She supposed she could have also left the room and gone wandering the Ceiori palace to better orient herself...but wandering the palace without one of her husbands meant taking along her guards, and she didn't care for that.

Even though they worked for her and not against her, she always felt uncomfortable. It was something she just hadn't gotten used to as empress yet at all.

So instead of that, she opted to stay in the room, relaxing the day away and petting her sweet little kitten in between his bouts of running around like a little madman, chewing on and clawing anything put in his reach.
