She listened politely.
This woman enjoyed talking about kittens.
That was obvious to Isabelle.
"Are mousers very different from Snowball?" She asked curiously. "Snowball is my first cat..."
She'd always wanted one in her past life, but she'd never been able to get any, so her sweet little Snowball was her first kitten.
And she adored him.
The woman raised a brow.
"Hm? Well, I suppose a difference is that mousers were bred for a job and the work and qualities we wanted to see in them, while companion breeds were more of a matter of taste and personal preference, to make cute and cuddly companions."
She turned her gaze to the white, fluffy kitten that sat next to her, crunching on his dinner.
"Of course, mousers can be sweethearts, too, but they need more stimulation and usually enjoy quiet cuddling less than the companion breeds like this little one."
