While they continued in the tunnel, she took another peek at his face in the very dim light of the corridor, and when he finally looked at her, she opened her mouth.

"Tell me something more about the Ceiori royals," Isabelle said suddenly.

She studied him carefully as he spoke, hoping to see how he would react to each answer. "What about them? What question is it you think I'll answer for you?"

Isabelle grimaced slightly, letting her gaze drop to the ground, feeling rather self conscious.

"I..don't know much about it. I've heard that Caleb rules from the shadows, or that Caoimhe did. And...I found something about...another child. That the queen once had. I read it in a diary."

He stared at her for a long moment. "A diary?"

She nodded. There didn't seem to be any harm sharing the information - it probably wasn't relevant, but they were pooling what they had, right? And maybe, if he knew the royal family well, he might know something about it.
