章節 11: The decision

A few days later

John's view

I went back to my little apartment on the third floor, of an old house, a few days ago. It was a wonder, it still stood and even my keys still worked. I was really happy because of this, but this changed the moment I came inside, as it was dirty everywhere.

I used the last few days to clean my apartment and get me some food out of my white space. I looked around and my eyes landed on the TV. It seems to still work, this made me happy especially, as it was my only source of information once.

I turned on the TV and watched what was available. I could only watch news, which means, I should probably buy a new TV sometimes. The news weren't really interesting for me, so I turned the TV off and watched the progress of the Quest, I just gave out a few days ago instead...

It seems like that little girl already saved quite many humans and I was happy for her. Oh, wait I thought about it again and remembered that she probably won't be too happy with this reward. The only thing I could do about this is, to answer, that I already helped her enough, I mean she could revive her cat because of me, who wouldn't be thankful, right? I just hope she never finds me, because even if she completes this mission, I wouldn't be able to give out better rewards, than before. She might even kill me the next time, she sees me.

I didn't think much longer about this and just wanted to sleep, as it was already late. Suddenly, I could see something again, it was a system window. It was this other system that I awakened a few days ago, It didn't talk to me for a week, I already thought it was just a dream, that I got it.

Note: Most people of the dark path are evil and most people of the light path are good. Whichever path you choose, may bring you different rewards for different kinds of quests. Though the path you choose doesn't affect, if you are evil or good, it will just give you rewards and quests according to what path you chose.

I saw this and wondered, should I choose the light path, as this would probably bring me rewards, if I would do good things

Or should I choose the dark path, as I could get items that aren't liked by most, but are powerful, but I might need to kill people for it. I mean, I already saw so many deaths, it would probably not affect me much to kill some more people, but what path is easier?
