CHAPTER 3- New Job
The moment I arrive in the café.
I saw Ayana waving at me seating at one of the table. She's already eating a cake and next to her plate is a cafe Americano.
"Sit" she motioned before she sips her hot coffee.
"I know you didn't eat breakfast because you woke up late." she said to me with a serious expression and motioned one of the waitress at the café.
"Is he here? " Ayana ask the waitress who's now serving a parfait and some chocolate bon bons.
"Ma'am Ayana, sir told me that he cannot meet you and the new employee right now since he has some urgent business to do in London but he will be back as soon as possible he also said that the new employee can start working today anytime." the waitress answered Ayana with a smile.
I wonder if we are supposed to meet the owner of this café and probably will be my new boss.
"Really that guy. But anyways she is starting her work today just let her finish her breakfast and you can start assisting her to her work, and please tell your boss she owes me one." then the waitress nod and left us.
She turned her gaze at me. "Eat" she said with full authority as she continues eating her food.
We finish our breakfast without any conversation, maybe she is not in the mood for chit chats or maybe she woke up at the wrong side of the bed.
After a couple of minutes Ayana received a call from her manager telling her to visit the company as soon as possible then we exchange see you's. Guess she receive a new project. She's going to get busy again being a model really is tiring.
Annie which is the waitress a while ago gave me instructions of what should I be doing she also gave me my new uniform and she's actually nice.
I'm enjoying this work actually and luckily the ghosts here are not that much just saw one young girl at the back of the kitchen freezer, one man seating at the table gazing outside, and two girls who also seat near the window holding a book. Thankfully they aren't showing interest or messing with me yet they're just giving me gazes, hopefully I wouldn't encounter desperate one again I don't wanna quit my new job aside from the ambiance is good here my coworkers are also nice and the salary is reasonable too.
I wasn't really surprise to see a ghost. I just ignored them as if I don't know they exist and as if the gaze that they are giving me is not intimidating at all and focus on what I'm doing which is what I normally do when ghosts are around, not minding what they talk about.

It was already 7:00 in the evening when we started preparing to close the café. After making sure that the café is clean for the next day I just plead goodbye to my new coworkers and head off to a nearby convenience store before going home.
This day was a success for me, hope it will last long.
