"We do not have a sex life!" I let out a frustrated grunt as I crossed my arms and slammed my back against the elevator wall. 

I waited until we were alone to tell him that and it was the most excruciating past few minutes of my life.

Of course, we weren't able to waltz out of that ballroom right after saying our goodbyes to our Grandfathers. We were stopped every few steps by people wishing us well or businessmen eager to talk to me or Alexander.

These people did not want to pass up the opportunity to speak to the head of the Harris Group or the Heir to Durfort Inc. 

"Then maybe we should change that," Alexander said as he inched closer to me.

He placed a hand on the wall and leaned forward, dipping his head until I could feel his warm breath on my lips.
