Huang Qiuyan is waiting for him to speak. This king has been listening to her quietly. Though she can't see any displeasure, she can't help but feel the fear rising in her body again when he pinches his lips together. His eyes turn darker, maddeningly quiet. She fists her hands weakly and moves them away from his chest.
Fu Sheng is wondering what to do or say. The woman is quite thick-headed in his eyes. She doesn't believe in the bond or what she's feeling for him. He's rejected because he's good looking, powerful and a king. Does it make sense? He's never been rejected like this before and he didn't care about it either, but, being rejected by his true mate has given him a hard blow.
In her eyes, he's a king who looks down on everyone. He's someone who is not good enough for her. But they have eternity together. She's meant to be with him and he's only meant for her. It might take a while for her to understand this. But she's testing his endurance whenever she says that she wants someone else.
Human beings are too idealistic when it comes to love. Sometimes, they can't see what is right in front of them. He can't say that he loves her, but the feelings aren't a lie.
"Huang Qiuyan." A cold smile appears on his face. "You are right. I am a bad man."
She shudders beneath him and looks away. The pressure makes it hard for her to breathe. She turns her face to the right and looks at the door. She can't escape from his clutches. He can crush her in a second; however, she knows that he won't kill her. He will also die if she dies.
Seeing her like this, his cold finger traces her jawline. "You admit that you desire me."
If he can't have her heart yet, he will have her body first. He will drown her in so much pleasure that she won't think about anyone else. He will capture her heart in the cage of passion and she will eventually understand the ways of vampires. She will start understanding what they have. The true bond leads to love eventually.
"You won't accept me as your husband." She lifts her chin when he runs his finger down her throat; electric waves shoot through her skin. He rubs his thumb over the bite mark on the curve of her neck -- his mark on her. Her mark on him is visible on the same thumb. These marks are their claim on each other. They won't disappear for eternity. He only belongs to her. That fact cannot be changed even the gods come down from heaven.
"Just like you said, I will keep seducing you and I will drown you in pleasure every day. Except me, nobody else can own your heart, soul, and body." He "You only belong to me, Huang Qiuyan. Even if it takes an eternity, you will surrender your heart to me one day. You will accept mine."
Even under the colossal pressure, she shakes her head slightly. "I will never accept it."
"You have accepted that you feel for me." He leans down and kisses the mark. She gasps, not being able to move at all. Instead, she squeezes her eyes shut and arches her neck for him to have better access. His cold breath lingers near her ear, tingling her skin. She hears the whisper of the devil.
"Surrender your body to me now."
And Huang Qiuyan falls for those words, not fighting it anymore. He can have her body, but he can never have her heart.
