The phonebooth was mentioned in the letter but Quirrel was a tiny bit cautious as he walked inside. There was no telephone contrary to his expectations but a few seconds after he entered, the door closed forcefully, trapping him inside.
He was about to use an offensive spell to break out when he felt dizzy and fainted.

Meanwhile, Dumbledore had just reached the school grounds and ran towards the third floor corridor. The moment he saw that the stone was missing, he panicked.
Beating Voldemort in a duel wasn't out of his capabilities but the reason he didn't want to see him come back was because he was someone who didn't follow rules.
He could beat Grindelwald only because his old friend had agreed to fight him one on one and didn't stab him in the back. He knew that Voldemort was someone who was very different from the previous dark lord.
He walked out of the place and was about to call all the teachers but stopped in his tracks when he saw an envelope floating near the wall. More like he could feel the magic that was covering the envelope.
'Hmm… a disillusionment charm on a letter right outside the forbidden corridor…. It wasn't here a few minutes ago and only someone who can sense the magical forces will be able to spot something that is charmed with such a powerful disillusionment charm.
Looks like it is here specifically for me…'
He tore open the seal and read the contents of the letter that was inside.
After he was done, he took a broom to the Three Broomsticks and asked Rosmerta to keep it until he was back. After that was done, he apparated to the location that was specified in the letter.
Dumbledore appeared on an empty beach and looked around. At a distance, he could see a hut which was also mentioned in the letter and apparated close to the hut.
He used a few detection charms and after making sure that no one was inside, he entered the stone hut. Inside, he saw a circular platform that was made of stone and on top of it was Quirrel's body.
He rushed forward to check Quirrel's breathing with his wand out and ready, but the moment he was only a meter from the body, he felt his consciousness slip. It happened so fast that he was unable to react in time.
Dumbledore felt his head hurt, but he could open his eyes. He was in a small room that seemed to be well lit. He stood up and saw a door being generated on the wall.
On top of the door that had just been generated, there were a few words that were also formed.
[Defeat all your opponents to reach your destination. This is a test to keep fake Dumbledores' and infiltrators away. Wands unusable for the first few rounds.]
'That was some powerful and unpredictable trap… so simple yet so strong. Marvelous… seems like Quirrel was possessed by Voldemort or something of the same sort.
If his body was outside, there is a high chance that he is somewhere ahead, taking whatever test this is. Hopefully, the stone doesn't fall into his hands.'

While both Voldemort, Quirrel and Dumbledore had fallen for his traps, Alex was sitting in the room of requirements as he observed the metallic bowl that had three small orbs on the top of its thick wall.
First, two of the orbs lit up with blue and red light simultaneously and a few minutes after Alex had left the letter for Dumbledore, the final orb lit up with green light.
He took a deep breath nervously before he placed a glass orb inside the bowl which fit in perfectly inside.
He tapped the red orb with the tip of his wand and saw the transparent glass orb fill up with white smoke before it began to change colours. A few seconds later, the smoke took the form of Voldemort.
He seemed to talking to someone as he raised his hand and balled it into a fist. The moment he did that, the blue orb flickered before shattering.
"All according to plan…. Anyways, Quirrel doesn't amount to much when compared to the other two and I'm sure that they won't be able to meet until they show their full power."
He yawned and sighed before stretching his aching and tired body.
"This will take some time so it is better to sleep right now."

Voldemort looked at the words that appeared on the wall before he turned his head to look at Quirrel.
"I really must thank you for letting me live in your body, Quirrel. Now, an opportunity had presented itself to you. What is your answer, I wonder?"
"M- master. This could be a trap. There is no way your wand will appear if you kill me."
"Don't misunderstand me, Quirrel. You have been very useful for the past year but right now, my wand is more useful than you." He said as he raised his hand upwards, his palm facing Quirrel.
"Die for me." he muttered before closing his fingers, strangling Quirrel, who was at least two meters from him, to death.
Quirrel's body disintegrated into particles before the particles joined together and formed a wand that he was extremely familiar with.
"I… missed you."
The words that were displayed on top of the door, changed.
[Defeat all your opponents to reach your destination. This is a test to keep fake Dark lord's and infiltrators away. Wands unusable for the first few rounds.]
Voldemort placed his beloved wand in his pocket before he entered through the door. The moment he stepped in and his land left the door handle, the door vanished and, in its place stood a thick stone wall.
He stared at the man who looked eerily similar to him before he split his soul into pieces.
A handsome man stared back at Voldemort before smiling, "Hello, my future self. How are you?"
