Ren pushed a glass of sparkly fizzy pink drink toward her. "Here, drink this. It will help you calm down."

Csilla gratefully accepted the glass, taking a small sip to steady herself. Ren waited patiently for her to calm down, his eyes observing her every move.

Once he saw that she was more composed, he finally spoke. "I know that. You want me to talk to my dad about his scholarship program, right?" he asked, taking a leisurely sip from his hazelnut drink.

The sweet, nutty flavor spread across his tongue, making his eyes gleam.

"Y-yes. Can you help him, please? I will do whatever i-is require—" Csilla began, her voice tinged with desperation.

"Drink yours," Ren interrupted gently, noticing that she was on the verge of rambling again.

He didn't want her to strain herself any more than she already had. If he let her continue, she might not stop until her throat went dry.
