The morning was a warm one, Gyll was woken up by the warm light hitting his face.
The man stretched, "Good morning." Gyll said to Mi.
"Sure is." replied a familiar voice. Gyll turned to face this person, ready to fight only to realise it was Razyl.
Gyll relaxed, "Man, you scared me. What are you doing here?" Gyll asked.
"We lizardmen tend to be very traditional, and nowhere did I see this a clearly as yesterday," Razyl replied.
"Did something happen?" asked Gyll.
"After you left, Kaber tried to convince the chieftain to reconsider his decision, along with the brewer," Razyl explained.
"His execution was sentenced to death yesterday for insulting the leadership of the village, the chieftain is being used as a puppet by a few powerful villagers," Razyl added, Gyll's face was overcome with rage, as he stood up and started grabbing his items.
"Those bastards, we have to go help Ra-" Gyll began but was interrupted by Razyl, "There's no need, according to the chieftain he was killed on the spot," Razyl said blankly.
Gyll froze, he fell back on the floor.
"No need to cry over me yet, Human," Kaber said with a chuckle.
Gyll looked up in shock, "You're alive!" he said.
"Yep, nobody ever said that the chieftain actually killed him," Razyl said.
"I've been exiled from the village," Kaber said.
"We fled at night, we were planning to search for a different village, but we saw some sorry human sleeping in the middle of a field, and we couldn't just let him get eaten by wolves." Kaber laughed.
Mi looked at the group talking, it was beyond her comprehension.
Mi tapped Gyll on the shoulder, "Here, give them these.".
Gyll was somewhat surprised and handed the two lizardmen two talismans.
"What are these?" asked Razyl putting his on, Kaber followed.
"Human, you must have really missed us, if you're showering us with gifts already," Kaber commented.
"Sup," Mi said facing the two Lizardmen.
The two Lizardmen stared at the figure, occasionally glancing at Gyll, than back at Mi.
"Human, you better have an explanation for why you're walking around with a child," Kaber said.
And he did.
The group talked for about twenty minutes.
"So, why couldn't you have done this at the village?" asked Razyl.
Gyll shoots Mi a confused look, "He could have, but he never asked." Mi replied.
"WHAT?!, how was I supposed to know I could do that?!" asked Gyll.
"What's done is done," stated Kaber.
"What will you do now Gyll?" asked Razyl.
"Well, we were just thin-" Gyll was interrupted by Mi.
"We're starting a town," Mi exclaimed.
Gyll shot a panicked look towards Mi, it very clearly meant "ARE WE?!", she shot back a look saying "..."
"I see," Razyl replied.
"You've got some ambition human!" Kaber exclaimed.
"So, listen, human. do you think you could use somebody to help you start up your village?" asked Kaber.
"Make that two somebodys," added Razyl.
"Ehh, I-" Gyll began but yet again, Mi answered for him.
"Sure," she said.
"Alright!" Razyl cheered.
"Let's get started!" He added.
And while this was going on, one taught was going through Gyll's mind,
"WHAT THE HELL DID I GET MYSELF INTO!?!?!?!"
Meanwhile, at the human capital city of 'Tritur City'
"My lord, you musn't!" Insisted the royal advisor.
"No, I must." Replied the king, dressed in lavish silk robes, sporting white hair and a long beard.
"My lord, your son must have simply decided to stay a bit longer at an inn, you know how he is!" the advisor argued.
The king stopped in the middle of his carpeted corridor.
"Do you really think so?" asked the king meekly.
"Yes, of course, your highness," the advisor replied.
The advisor ushered the king back to his room, "My lord, you shouldn't exhaust yourself so much while ill" the advisor said.
"I don't have long left, I should at least spend what's left of it with my family." the king replied.
The king was shocked by a thud behind him, and even more so by the dagger in his side.
"You'll get to see your family soon, your highness." replied the cloaked figure.
