Eros could not believe his eyes. What was Coral doing? And why was she chanting Enochian despite Infernum being clearly superior in this environment? 

He noticed he could hop over the balustrade and onto the desert sand. Wanting to rush over to help, Eros was about to hurry over to Coral but was held back by the wispy succubus. 

"I strongly advise against going there in your current state. Not only is she draining all creatures of their ether, but her magic is also twisting them further. By the time you reach her, you'll be a beast."

Nemesis shrugged. "Obviously, if you insist on going, we won't hold you back, but Limos is right."

"I can't stay here and watch her indefinitely," he countered. 

"Why not, it's been a long time since we last had a male companion," Nemesis teased. She ran her finger across his chin. Eros remained expressionless.
