He would carry on a bit more and squeeze out as much time as he could in cultivation in the special chamber but the mana crystals were all drained. 

His power was already equivalent to a Divine Rank cultivator. The number of Pseudo - Diamond crystals as well as the number of Diamond crystals in his mana core already exceeded 1000.

He was currently situated in a sacred chamber reserved only for monarchs in the upper realm. The density of the mana was so potent it only allowed a monarch to cultivate for 4-5 hours in one standing but Zeref's powerful body composition disregarded this completely. He could sit for as long as he wanted.
