章節 67: Compromising

Luca held up trembling hands at the accusation. 

"Does it look like I've done anything to her?" he snapped. 

Dr. Miguera observed sweat all over Luca and he faced him defiantly. There was no doubt he had already started his rut. It would be best to take him far away from the omega he was sitting across from. 

"I'm fine," Sophia said. "He hasn't done anything to me." 

"I'm relieved to see that," the doctor said in a hushed tone so the neighbors wouldn't hear. "I'm Dr. Miguera, Mr. Morelli's doctor. I think we should get out of here before it becomes too much for him to handle. You aren't controlling your pheromones right now." 

Miss Florentino remained by the car, but she watched the situation with an urgent expression on her face. Of all the times she had seen Luca headed towards his rut, that was by far the worst. 

The doctor helped Luca to his feet but as he stood his eyes went to Sophia. He gave her a pleading look.
