Situ Ziyu did not know why but the scent that was wafting towards him from the spaces that were not bound by walls and the ivy curtains that were covering the old building. 

' Where did I smell this scent?' Situ Ziyu thought in his head as he pushed the small gate that was closed with a latch on it. With each step that he took, the haze in his head started to clean little by little as he started to remember a very old memory that he had forgotten. 

On an afternoon in the summer, Situ Ziyu who was around ten back then was burying his pet rabbit who was killed because of his growing attachment to it. His maternal grandmother who saw him feeling upset because of a rabbit reprimanded him for being too kind and that he would be the first to be eaten if he stayed the same.
