Chapter 69: Treasure Map
As Byron entered the war room, the pirate officers of the 'Vengeful Goddess' and the captains of Redbeard Edward's direct pirate fleet were already gathered. It was evident that due to Bill's lack of popularity on the ship, the messenger had informed him last.
One individual arched an eyebrow and remarked sarcastically: "Isn't the executioner the most disciplined, always preaching the Ten Commandments? Yet he's often late?"
In line with Bill's typical demeanor, Byron disregarded this comment from Captain Hayden. He tipped his hat to Captain Redbeard and took his seat in the third position to his right.
On the 'Vengeful Goddess,' the seating arrangement for officers was determined by their proximity to Redbeard, signifying their status. The seats were numbered 7, 5, 3, 1, 2, 4, 6 from the captain's central position (number 1).
