章節 82: CONSPIRANCY

I woke up in my room. I didn't know how I got here and I was disoriented. The last thing I remember is fighting that girl Amanda. I don't remember what happened. I groaned as I got up from the bed and a headache hit me like a train. What was going on? My body burnt and I was feeling discomfort. I got up from the bed and stood. There was a jar of water on my nightstand and I poured some water into a cup beside it and drank it to smooth my sore throat. It felt like it was all a dream, the fight and me just waking up. I wish the fight between Rick and I was also just a dream. My curtains were drawn and when I peeked outside, it was dark.

I walked out of the room and went to see if there was anyone in the house. Mom was in the living room on the couch with Dad talking. I could hear the laughs of Grey and some other kid I didn't know.

"Mom?" I called to her.

"Oh hey honey. I see you are awake," she said as she got up and came to hug me.

the hug took me by surprise.
