Just because a chapter feels off the storyline or you didn't like it, doesn't mean it's a filler. Have the patience to know the reason behind the chapter.

The previous chapter was to build the story for Alvin to show his unconditional support for her job and link to the drug case. It was about FL work, which is needed for her career development. As an author, I can't abruptly bring up just anything.

P.S: I don't ink steamy romance just because the leads are adults. Follow the story, and know the reservation of FL.

To the reader who was displeased with the story: Nobody forced you to buy privilege or assure you that I will meet your personal expectations. I don't like slow burn so I don't like to drag the story either.
