As if situations could not be any worse our day had taken a drastic turn when the bombshell was dropped. It had been the most awkward and uncomfortable situation of my life as I watched Bobby slowly unravel as his mother told him the truth. 

I had never been more grateful for Pedro to come and save me because he probably knew I would somehow be dragged in it. I did not know how to deescalate a situation so I would have probably made things worse. 

Saying goodbye to Jordan and Clyde felt confusing as well because Clyde himself seemed to be disappointed with her as he frowned most of the time. She had still been crying when I hugged her and reassured her that Bobby would come around but we both knew how he was. He could hold a grudge for a very long time if he wanted to. 

"Do you want to talk about it?" I held him tightly and fed him some food from his platter as he continuously sniffed.
