"Are you going to sing for me?" Benedito brushed his lips against mine as we danced together by the patio we had first danced under the time I came to his house. The same song played in the background but at least now I knew the name of it. It was one of Benedito's favorites, 'Mi Negrita' by 'Devendra Banhart'. 

Since I knew the meaning of the song, we had a lot more fun with it as we placed a rose stem between our teeth as we danced around each other like torn lovers. 

Benedito had taught me how to tango and since then it had been a complete disaster. Whenever this song came on we could not help but play the characters. 

I clapped before he took me in his arms and dipped me down before bringing me flush against his chest, "No, I make you cry whenever I sing." 

"It's happy tears, meu amor," he winked before he spun me out and waltzed over to me.
