I picked on my stir fry with a defeated sigh. It was the second day of me being up and I felt extremely down today. All the emotions and post-traumatic stress were all starting to get into effect now and I was finding it hard to be Billie Bob Taylor. 

"Don't you like your food Billie?" Ma frowned as she sat down next to me eating her own lunch. 

I looked at her with a pout and shook my head, "I don't think I have much of an appetite."

"Do you want me to ask Otto?" Benedito tilted his head to the side whilst he ate his own lunch. 

I shook my head again, "it ain't serious. I'm just tired."

He and Ma looked at each other with concerned expressions before Ma changed the topic, "Your Pa asked to see you later?"

"That's alright," I nodded with a small smile.

That made her smile as she took my hand in hers, "I'm happy he's trying."

"Me too," I nodded.
