Vincent is pacing back and forth. James and Pitt were dizzying, staring at him, doing that for half an hour now.

"Hailee isn't laboring yet. Would you settle down for once?"

Vincent ignored Pitt as his only concern is his phone, glancing at it every passing minute. Finally, he receives the text message he is waiting for from Sheena.

Sheena shared everything they have talked about with Hailee, including why she is anxious for Vincent to see her in that state.

Vincent slowly pushed the bedroom door open and walked with light steps toward the bed. Immediately, his heart twisted seeing the medical machines on the side.

Vincent's gaze softened, looking at Hailee's hands punctured with needles. The fists on his sides dug into his palm, watching his wife in a pitiful state.

"Wifey…"

Q: Why does Liam Huo still mention and involved?

A: I was working on leading this story to the Sequel Book of My Stubborn Mistress that collaborated with Burning Passion and this novel (His Contractual Mistress).

My main purpose is to explain less to the Sequel Book about these three novels' world background and characters. So that, you will immediately think that,

"Ah, it was his son! Oh, he got married and now had a daughter!"

Hahaha... Honestly, I am giving birth to these characters, but I am also thrilled, probably because I felt delighted to share with you my other projects.
