Angelica woke up in an unfamiliar room, in unfamiliar clothes...She looked around the room she was in a large bed in a beautifully decorated room. All the furniture was wooden and looked old and expensive...

<Knock, knock, knock> "I know you are awake. Can I come in?" Seth can be heard from the other side of the door. "Y-Yes" Angelica's voice came out shakily. With her permission, he entered the room to find her still sitting in the bed looking small and timid. At that moment he felt such a strong urge to protect his small and fragile mate...

He closed the door behind him, walked to the bed, and sat on its edge. He started to speak slowly and timidly to not frighten her more. "I know you have some questions, and I promise you I'll answer them all." "What was that last night?" Angelica said quietly.'

"Maybe I should explain everything slowly. I am a Werewolf and the Alpha of the Northern pack. The Alpha is like the pack leader, I am responsible for the well-being of the pack and everyone in it...To werewolves, our mates are our other halves, the person we are meant to be with. We usually meet our mate when we turn 18, we know them the second we lock eyes with them, but for some reason, I didn't receive my mate then for years I thought she didn't exist or that I wasn't given a mate. That was until I met you..." He trailed off Angelica could feel the love and pain radiating through his eyes.

"So, you're telling me I'm your mate?" Angelica asked "Yes you are. And because I'm the packs Alpha it makes you their Luna" Seth replied "What is a Luna even. That physio last night kept calling me that!" Angelica's voice came out as a scream remembering the events of last night.

"A Luna is the mother of the pack. It means you help me take care of the pack and everyone in it, you keep me in check, and are involved in making any big decisions. My strength comes from you. Without you, I won't be able to properly protect the pack. In recent years the pack has been suffering from the lack of a Luna. My mother has been taking care of things as she was the previous Luna, but it's not the same." Seth replied knowing the weight of his words.

"What will happen if I refuse, all of this and you?" Angelica asked fearing the answer. "Before I met you, I could have chosen another female to be my mate and the pack's Luna, but now that I have met you, I'll die without you leaving in the pack without an Alpha and defenseless" Seth said, "But please don't let this influence your decision, the pack can always get a new Alpha." "One last thing, My clothes?" Angelica asked timidly, Seth's face went bright red "I wiped down your body and changed you. Your clothes were torn and covered in blood. You are wearing my shirt. This is also my house and room, don't worry I slept in a guest room last night. Not that I slept much." with his words Angelica's face went bright red and she ducked her head underneath the blanket.

He saw everything. "Don't feel bad, foxy, you are beautiful" Seth said in response to her thoughts "Like seriously what is that? Why do you always seem to read my mind?" angelica asked half screaming having had enough of his crap. he chuckled a bit and replied "Mates have a deep connection that allows them to read each other's minds, feel each other's emotions and locate each other. You will be able to do it with time. All members of the pack have the ability to communicate telepathically with each other though." Seth said teasingly.

Wait that means he has heard every embarrassing thing I have thought while around him including what I'm thinking right now. OH NO!

Angelica poked her head out from underneath the covers sitting up and wrapping them around her, she kind of looked like a spring roll. "So, we can read each other's minds but can talk to anyone in the pack?" Angelica asked. "Yes, I'll explain more as time goes on and you settle in here that is if you choose to stay." Seth said, "But what about my mom?" Angelica asked "It's already been taken care of" Seth replied. "BUT I NEVER TOLD YOU!" she was screaming at the top of her lungs. "I know and I'm sorry, but I had you investigated I wanted to know more about you. I paid for your mother's operation and sign off on it. I told them that I'm your husband. The operation was successful and she's currently in recovery." Seth sat there and didn't dare to look her in the eye he knew what he did was wrong, she had every right to be mad.

Then suddenly <HUG> "Thank you for helping my mom, but that doesn't mean I'm not mad at you, you are going to have to make up for this." Angelic said in a happy and stern voice like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders. He wrapped his arms around her deepening the hug and then she started crying, overwhelmed but everything that happened in such a short time, being kidnapped, seeing men transform into wolves, and vice versa. All things she thought were impossible before she met him. "I'm so sorry I should have protected you better, Foxy" with Seth's words she broke down completely, it was as if a dam had burst. All the pain and loneliness she had helped in all these years was being let out.

She felt safe and protected in his arms, which is something she rarely experienced. Once she had calmed down and stopped crying Seth said, " You should get ready, there are some people downstairs waiting to meet you." she nodded her head and Seth showed her the closet filled with high-end women's clothes and all in her size. "I called the manager and asked him what size you wear, my mother chose the clothes." she simply nodded not surprised by this, then he led her to the other side of the room where there was a large, sweet bathroom

"Feel free to use anything you want. What's mine is yours" Seth said planting a light kiss on her forehead "Come down when you're done, or call if you need help with anything" And with that, he left?

She took a quick shower, got dressed in a casual green dress with black pumps, and tied her hair into a ponytail. She headed downstairs to see who was waiting to meet her...
