Alastor and Sona continued their stroll through the aquarium, the dim lighting casting a soft glow over the various tanks that lined the walls. The cool, serene atmosphere was a stark contrast to the busy world outside, and Alastor couldn't help but admire how calming the place felt.
"It's beautiful in here," he commented as they moved deeper into the aquarium. The light from the tanks reflected off the water, creating dancing patterns on the floor.
Sona nodded, her eyes lighting up with excitement. "Yeah, it is. Look over here!" She pointed toward a tank filled with small, luminous fish that seemed to shimmer with every movement. "These are called Moonbeam Minnows. They have this natural glow that looks just like moonlight on water. Isn't it amazing?"
Alastor watched the fish with a soft smile, his arm still around her waist. "They're beautiful," he agreed, leaning in a little closer to her. As Sona continued explaining the different species of fish, she seemed to relax more and more, leaning comfortably against him. His hand slipped lower, resting just above her hips, but she didn't seem to notice, too caught up in her enthusiastic narration.
"And these over here," she continued, pointing to a large tank on the other side, "are Rainbow Gouramis. They're really rare, and they have this amazing ability to change color depending on the light. It's like they have a little rainbow trapped inside them."
He nodded, his eyes more focused on her than the fish. "You really know a lot about this stuff," he said with a grin. "I never knew you were so into marine life."
Sona blushed slightly, looking away shyly. "Well, I did some research before we came. I wanted to make sure I knew what I was talking about."
Alastor chuckled softly, appreciating the effort she'd put in. He gently guided her to a quieter section of the aquarium, away from the other visitors. The tank in front of them was filled with colorful coral and vibrant fish, providing a beautiful backdrop to their moment.
As Sona continued talking about the fish, Alastor tightened his hold around her waist and pulled her a little closer, turning her so that she was facing him directly. Her eyes widened slightly in surprise as she realized how close they were, her cheeks turning a light shade of pink.
"What is it?" she asked, her voice soft and a bit breathless, clearly caught off guard by the sudden change in his demeanor.
Alastor smiled, his gaze locked onto hers. "Nothing," he replied, his voice low and teasing. "I just wanted to see you up close for a moment. You're really cute when you're all excited about something."
Sona's blush deepened, but she didn't pull away. Instead, she looked down, suddenly shy. "You're teasing me," she murmured, though there was no real accusation in her tone—just a hint of embarrassment.
"Maybe a little," he admitted with a grin. "But I mean it. I like seeing this side of you."
Sona looked back up at him, her eyes searching his for a moment before she gave a small smile. "Thanks, Alastor," she said softly, leaning in just a bit closer, her nerves gradually fading away.
He ran his fingers through her hair, feeling its softness against his skin. As he tilted her head up slightly, Sona's eyes fluttered shut, her lips parting just a bit as she anticipated what was coming next. She was clearly nervous, but there was also a hint of excitement in her trembling breath.
Leaning in, Alastor let his lips brush lightly against hers, savoring the moment. He could feel her breath hitch, the anticipation building between them. Just as she began to lean in for more, he pulled back slightly, teasing her. Sona instinctively followed, her lips searching for his, clearly eager for the contact.
Alastor chuckled softly at her reaction and leaned in again, brushing his lips against hers a second time before pulling away once more. Sona's frustration was evident as she leaned forward again, trying to close the gap between them.
On the third attempt, Sona couldn't take it any longer. With a sudden burst of impatience, she closed the distance between them, pressing her lips firmly against his. Her hands moved up to wrap around his chest, pulling him closer as she deepened the kiss.
Alastor responded in kind, one hand still cradling her head while the other slid around her waist, drawing her even closer. He could feel the heat radiating off her skin, the way her body trembled slightly with a mixture of nerves and desire.
As their lips moved together, Sona felt a wave of electricity course through her, sending shivers down her spine. A soft moan escaped her lips as she melted into the kiss, her heart racing wildly in her chest. She pressed herself against Alastor, feeling his solid form against her, grounding her in the moment.
Alastor, enjoying the taste of her lips, decided to take things a step further. He gently pushed his tongue forward, seeking entrance into her mouth. At first, he met resistance; Sona's teeth were clenched, a sign of her lingering nervousness. But Alastor was patient. He let his tongue trace along the seam of her lips and teeth, coaxing her gently to open up for him.
Sona hesitated for just a moment, her mind racing with uncertainty. But the warmth of Alastor's touch, the steady beat of his heart against her chest, and the soft, coaxing motions of his tongue were too much to resist. Slowly, she parted her lips, allowing him to explore further.
As his tongue slipped past her teeth and into her mouth, Sona felt another jolt of excitement. The sensation was new and overwhelming, but she found herself eagerly welcoming the intrusion.
Eventually, they pulled apart, both of them slightly breathless. Sona gazed up at Alastor, her cheeks flushed and her eyes sparkling with a mix of emotions she couldn't quite place.
"You should really get used to this," Alastor teased gently, a playful smirk tugging at his lips. "It feels like every time I kiss you, it's like your first time all over again."
Sona blushed even deeper, unable to suppress the shy smile that crept across her face. "I just can't help it," she admitted softly, her voice tinged with embarrassment and honesty.
Alastor chuckled at her response, his thumb brushing lightly over her cheek. "Well, I suppose I can live with that," he said, leaning in to give her a quick peck on the lips. "But we should finish our date."
