章節 217: The deserving father

After two weeks, Brad was slowly recovering, and his wounds were healing nicely. His memories of the kidnapping and the entire incident gradually returned eventually.

A nightmare that he wished did not happen but a reality that he had to face. After learning that everything started with Johanna's wish to retaliate against Sabrina, he felt partly to blame for the entire incident. 

If only he had controlled the situation between him and Johanna, his wife might not resort to such a heinous act. Now, Johanna shot him. He almost died. Johanna was behind bars, and his son was still missing. His life seemed so messed up.

On the other hand, Sabrina was also feeling much better and better every day. Her nightmares lessened to an occasional occurrence compared to the first few days after the incident. The recent development in their situation and the therapies were helping her a lot.
