Morne's Spells were suspiciously suited for the trials of dirt, ground, and hill, and it was because of his Invigorating Touch Spell that they had been able to enter at all.

"You recognize it?" Geleb asked hoarsely, noticing Morne's intense stare.

"Somewhat," Morne said half-heartedly. He couldn't very well divulge everything about the books just because the two had been through several life-or-death ordeals together.

"We should grab them and leave," Geleb told him, pointing at his throat with his thumb. "I need some water before this gets worse."

Morne agreed, and the duo approached the dais cautiously. After all that had happened, they held little trust for their stony hosts, and half-expected a trap to go off at any moment.

Morne lightly placed a foot on the dais, and when nothing happened, he brought the other foot forward and started walking, Geleb trailing behind.
