How a race of photosynthesizing humanoids had a gag reflex, especially one that reacted to smell, was beyond Morne, but they had more important things to do than sit here worrying about it.

Since the elves weren't Mages, he couldn't see them within his Sense, and the way their voices echoed in the miasma made pinpointing their locations complicated even if he could hear.

But since he couldn't, he didn't even hear what the elf had said and just left them where they were. They'd have to find their own ways around, because truthfully, he had no idea where they were or which way was the way out.
