章節 109: Graduation

The day before graduation, Emily was nervous. Her mom, grandparents, and siblings had just flown into town to be there for the ceremony and she had gone to dinner with them while Justin spent time with his own visiting family members.

No one in her family had met her boyfriend yet. He was such an important part of her life; she wanted him to fit in well with them.

"What does he want to do with his degree again?" her grandma asked. "He majored in computer science, right?"

"Computer science and engineering," Emily corrected. She wasn't quite sure what to say because his own family didn't know about his flourishing freelance business. It wasn't her place to tell. "He's a programmer. Businesses always need programmers."

"What's the difference between computer science and computer science and engineering?" Her mom didn't even know those were two separate degrees.
