A tight frown appeared on his handsome face as he was damn worried for her. It was her first day at his home yet she faced a misfortune as soon as she got into the house.

Victor apologized with a hopeless tone,

" I..I am sorry, Janet! I wasn't careful enough..You have been hurt because of me. Let me take care of you, okay?"

Janet was startled after listening to the promise that he just made. Maybe, he indicated something simple but the meaning behind those words felt too romantic in her ears. She couldn't even under why was he being so anxious when it was entirely her fault.
