章節 54: Reopened Wounds

The feeling of relish and a bit of satisfaction hit Kruxe as his right fist collided with the flesh of his father's jaw, but as he moved to swing his left fist, wanting to land another fist, everything suddenly went dark, and then a stinging sensation appeared on his left cheek while he found himself on the floor. 

"For several seconds, the pain on Kruxe's cheek dominated his mind, causing a ringing sensation in his head, and only after blinking his eyes several times and breathing heavily for a while did Kruxe lift himself up and look at his father, who was casually staring at the ceiling and then turned to him. 

"Oh, that's impressive, though I didn't hit hard, I figured with the hunger and tiredness in you, that punch would take you out." 

Rather than replying to him, Kruxe's eyes narrowed on him, and his lips tightened.
