Soo-Ah's footsteps were light as she skipped on the cobblestone of the streets without feeling their hard edges through her sandals. All she had in her head were made-up images of how her reunion with Sung-Ho would play out. She ended up losing her way a couple of times, that's how distracted she was, not paying attention to the still unfamiliar streets with their well-kept buildings and open-shuttered windows. Lucky for her, the people around her, who would otherwise keep to themselves, were quick to guide her every time she asked for directions.
