"Where's Papa?" The child stared at him with dreamy eyes.

Alexei smiled at the kid's lively expression. It kind of reminded him of Erin for that matter. Maybe because its mother had the same features.

"Lorenz, stop bothering Grandpa like that," speaking of it. Rinei followed behind its son soon after.

Alexei gave the latter a nod assuring that everything was fine.

And gave his attention back to his grandson who was patiently awaiting his answer.

"You just missed him by a second," he told Lorenz as he stared at the direction where Marc had probably gone in its way out of the building. Which was the opposite side of where the two had come from.

"I'm really sorry about coming here unannounced," Rinei said apologetically.
