章節 56: Chapter 56: Weird Feeling

Finally, Pansy's question couldn't be solved, and she was distracted by Draco.

The secret incident was temporarily resolved, and as the petrified students returned to normal, Hogwarts also began to restore order. The previous rumors about Dumbledore's expulsion were widespread and were also considered "true."

The storm has passed.

However, it is impossible to completely restore order because after this incident, Lockhart, who played the role of "hero" in this storm, was said to have been hit on the head and suffered a great impact on his ability to use magic.

Dumbledore explained to the outside world that this was the reason for the cancellation of the DADA Class in the second half of the term and the decision to cancel the final exams.

"Alas, I wanted to watch Professor Lockhart beat old bats a few more times. It seems that there's no chance now," Ron said with a sigh while taking food from the plate in front of him. He seemed very sorry for Professor Lockhart's injury.

It is said that because of this incident, their black magic defense class teacher will be replaced again next semester and the duel club will naturally not continue.

"Hermione, don't you remember what happened?" Harry asked.

He has asked this question many times, but the final answer is always Hermione's helpless shake of her head.

This time was no exception.

She said, "I only remember some things before I took the Potion, for example, you helped me distract Pansy." She was trying desperately to remember, but her brow was very furrowed.

These days, she has been surrounded by praise for showing courage that belongs to Gryffindor, but she can't remember anything at all, which makes her blush and feel ashamed every time she receives praise.

"Could it be a side effect of the Potion?" Ron took a cup of honey tea and sighed in frustration.

"If I was there, I might have been able to use it."

"The Potion does not have this side effect," Hermione said, as if she wanted to prove that her memory loss was not a problem.

However, her voice sounded louder, which attracted the attention of the students around her.

"Hermione, Lower you voice. Snape is looking over here," Harry said, looking around and seeing Snape's annoying face also looking in their direction.

"Don't worry," Hermione said, lowering her voice. "I confessed to the principal."

"What?" Ron and Harry exclaimed, almost jumping in shock.

"Isn't it all right now?" Hermione said. "Stealing is always wrong. We had no choice but to do it, but we shouldn't hide it. Even if we stole Snape's things." Hermione's voice was low.

"Okay," Ron said helplessly. "Does the old bat know?" he asked slightly worried.

"The principal has resolved it," Hermione said briskly.

"That's good," Harry said, also breathing a sigh of relief. He didn't want to be punished for this matter in the future.

Suddenly, there was a sound of movement and collision of stools in the direction of the Slytherin dining table.

Ron glanced over there and sneered, "The Slytherin students are making him a hero."

It was Draco's arrival at dinner that caused such a commotion. Many Slytherin students always stood up to pay tribute when they saw him, and some even bowed.

"Their House Cup is definitely gone this year, and we still have Hermione's two hundred percent," Harry said happily, not caring about the behavior of the Slytherin students.

Hermione looked at Draco not far away and then fell silent.

"Professor, are there any side effects of the Potion?" After one class, Hermione asked Dumbledore, feeling that something was wrong.

"Oh, Miss Granger, what seems to be the problem you are having?" Dumbledore stopped in the middle of the corridor and asked, shaking his silver beard.

"I'm having some problems with my feelings and emotions," Hermione said. "You said Professor Lockhart saved me, but I don't want to see him at all. When I mentioned him, I felt sick. What's going on? Could it be something wrong with the Potion I made?"

"Hmm..." Dumbledore thought for a moment, then smiled at Hermione. "As far as I know, the Potion shouldn't have any side effects. There's a saying: every wizard is a prophet. Maybe you should trust your instincts, Miss Granger."

Hermione was a little puzzled by this answer, but she felt that Dumbledore wouldn't lie to her. She chose to believe him, but hesitated and said, "But it wouldn't be polite, would it? He saved me, and he paid such a big price."

"Your idea is good, but I'm afraid we can't find where his people are now," Dumbledore shrugged and expressed his helplessness. "He's been transferred to San Mungo. If you want to see him, you'll have to wait until the holiday. Maybe he's preparing for an interview now."

Dumbledore added, "Maybe at the end of the semester, you'll have the chance to stand with him on the auditorium stage. We'll commend you both, and maybe you'll understand yourself better. Is your emotion really wrong?"

"Okay, Professor," Hermione nodded.

"Miss Granger, do you have any other emotional problems besides this?" Dumbledore asked.

Hermione's face stiffened, and she slowly said, "Thank you for your concern. I don't have any other problems."

"That's good," Dumbledore said with a smile, then turned and walked towards his office, dragging his wide robe behind him.

"Sorry, Professor. I lied," Hermione silently apologized to Dumbledore in her heart. She had no reason to dislike Lockhart, and even felt a trace of nothing towards the creators of all this.
