章節 2: 16 years later
Julius Diablos Delhivia awoke from a fitful sleep. "No ..no.....no ...NOOO!!",he screamed frantically as he jerked upright on his mattress.
These dreams were nothing new to Julius as he had been having them everyday for as long as he could remember. The bizarre thing about them was that the moment he woke up all traces of the dream vanished leaving behind the vague but unpleasant feeling of despair and madness.
"Time for another day" Julius muttered as he got ready for school.
A few minutes later ,he was fully dressed standing in front of the mirror. He stared at his reflection trying to decide whether he should put on contacts or not.
Julius appeared to be an average teenager but for the fact that that his eyes were a deep crimson color and an unnaturally firm build hid inconspicuously under his clothes. His eyes were the result of genetics,or so he thought, and his body ,the product of years of combat training.
He eventually decided against the contacts and went downstairs where he met his father .
"Good morning Julius ", his father said sweetly as he began to rise from his seat.
"Hey...dad",Julius replied warily as he kept his back to the wall and imperceptibly crept closer to the door .
A tense second passed then suddenly movement exploded inside the spacious living room. Julius flung a glass stool at his father which Argus easily batted away and dove toward his son palm open aiming for the boy's neck .
Julius deflected the hand and shot towards the door but not before a forceful blow granted him some extra velocity and sent him flying. Julius nevertheless landed in a graceful roll and dashed out of the compound. "GET BACK HERE !!", a very angry voice said from behind Julius.
'Like hell I will'
Julius didn't stop running till he was a considerable distance away from the Delhivia Manor then leaned on a wall to catch his breath.

Julius' father was a very troubled man as he had never truly healed from the trauma of losing his wife . Although it wasn't apparent in the earlier years of Julius' life Argus' mental health detoriated slowly till the day he finally snapped.
Julius was a mere seven years old on that fateful day that his father walked into his room, glassy eyed, with a whip in hand . He proceeded to then whip the living daylight out of Julius.
The next morning, Argus was back to normal with not a trace or memory of the painful event that had ensued the previous day. From that day onwards, Argus would alternate between 'Argus' and 'Ogre' although slowly but surely 'Argus' sessions were becoming less frequent.
And so ironically, Julius Delhivia the son of Argus Delhivia -one of the most influential men in their district- had to learn to fend for himself.
